Beautiful cheongsam style wrap dress. It consists of the two front flaps like a vest but has a separate back side that ties separately. The velour side of the fabric is one faced and the interior is stiff and armor-like. It features a toggle closure and polyester ribbons along the length of the dress. Pairs best layered with a top and pants. Held in the MET’s permanent archive.
Condition note-
The velour fibers in are agitated in large areas and will need to be relaxed with professional care. Slight damage in some areas.
